Mini piadinas
of Hallowen
Ingredients
- Sfogliata Mini Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Ripe avocado
- Mixed cherry tomatoes
- Mozzarella or fresh fiordilatte-type cheese
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or cilantro)
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
To decorate
- Molds/coppers with shapes: ghost, pumpkin, coffin, cat, bat
- Mixed seeds
Procedure
Heat mini piadinas on a hot nonstick skillet, a few seconds per side, until soft and lightly browned. Allow them to cool just enough to handle.
Meanwhile, prepare the dressing: mash the avocado with a fork along with a drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt until smooth. Cut the cherry tomatoes into small pieces. Cut the mozzarella into slices about 1 cm thick and, with Halloween-themed cookie cutters, cut out the desired shapes (e.g., ghosts, pumpkins, bats). With the mixed seeds, form the eyes of the different figures.
Spread a layer of avocado cream on the mini piadinas. Scatter cherry tomatoes and mozzarella shapes on top, add a drizzle of oil and top with fresh herbs.
Serve the decorative mini piadinas immediately, transformed into little “little monsters,” as scary but delicious finger foods for Halloween.
